Lando Norris topped a bizarre first practice session ahead of the 2024 F1 Canadian Grand Prix, at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
The first session of the weekend began in wet conditions following a storm an hour prior to the session; however, a thin dry line was present by the end of the session.
With no real wet or dry running having been completed, first practice was somewhat irrelevant.
It adds to the pressure of gaining crucial data in second practice, which Norris will be hoping to top to demonstrate that McLaren have strong pace in Canada. But will it be dry?
