FP3 poses the final opportunity for teams and drivers to maximise set-up and preparation ahead of qualifying for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

It has already been a competitive start to the weekend in Baku, with Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc topping FP1 and FP2, respectively.

Early signs still, but it indicated a welcome return to form for Red Bull, as it looks to hold off the fast-charging McLaren in the constructors' championship. That gap down to just eight points.

Sergio Perez also provided a strong account of himself on Friday, going third-fastest in the first practice session and second-quickest in the final hour of running.

That will bolster the Milton Keynes team's confidence and morale, but Ferrari look to have maintained its Monza form and Mercedes appear to be in contention too.

McLaren has yet to truly show its hand, so how Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri perform in FP3 could set the tone for the grid-setting session later today.
