Lewis Hamilton has called on Ferrari to "act" on his recommendations, claiming he has "so many notes" on things the Italian team must improve.
The seven-time F1 drivers' champion has endured a miserable first season with the Scuderia, failing to reach the podium and languishing 78 points behind Charles Leclerc in the standings.
Currently on a run of three successive qualifying sessions where he has been eliminated in Q1, including sprint qualifying in Qatar, the British driver suffered through a torrid weekend at the Lusail International Circuit.
During the grand prix itself, the 40-year-old worked his way up to P12 by the chequered flag, having started P17 on the grid.
Speaking to Sky Sports F1 after the 57-lap race, the 105-time grand prix winner said: "I enjoyed it as much as I could."
With just one round before Hamilton can say goodbye to the troublesome SF-25 and a regulations cycle he has seldom found success with, he was asked what he has learned from the experience and how it has challenged him.
"Definitely has been the most challenging year [of my career], both in and out of the car," he reflected before tackling the current difficult environment at Ferrari head-on.
"I mean, I've got so many notes in terms of things that we need to improve on," he added, having previously compiled documents investigating areas the Maranello-based squad must address and how.
"Time will tell whether or not we act upon those things, and we keep hold of the things that are good and change the things that are not — and there's plenty of those.
"But there's literally no reason why we couldn't fix those. We just [need to] put those into action. I'm hopeful for making progress."
