Liam Lawson has been told he can either make a name for himself at Red Bull or be the next driver out of the door should he suffer against Max Verstappen.
With just 11 grands prix under his belt, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner and advisor Helmut Marko determined that Lawson would be Verstappen's new team-mate for this season after Sergio Perez's services were dispensed with at the end of last year.

Former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher has suggested a move to Ferrari could become an option for Max Verstappen in the future.
Verstappen has raced for Red Bull since his early-season promotion to the front-running squad in 2016, winning four F1 titles.

Norris flirts with iconic F1 team move
Lando Norris has flirted with the possibility of linking up with a rival F1 team in the future.
Norris joined the F1 grid in 2019 with McLaren and has since become a four-time race winner with the team, finishing runner-up in the F1 standings last year.
Marko addresses ongoing Verstappen to Aston Martin links
Helmut Marko has dismissed concerns of a possible defection of Max Verstappen to the Aston Martin F1 project.
Verstappen was linked with a billion-pound move to Aston Martin in a report in the Daily Mail in January before the Silverstone-based squad quickly squashed the rumour, pointing to the fact that both Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll are on long-term contracts.

Carlos Sainz reveals Red Bull ultimatum that nearly crushed F1 dream
Carlos Sainz has revealed how Red Bull threatened the end of his F1 dream if he did not win a junior series title in 2014.
Sainz joined the Red Bull junior driver's programme in 2010, first driving F1 machinery at the 2013 young driver test at Silverstone in the form of that year's Toro Rosso, and the RB9 car that would take Sebastian Vettel to his fourth straight title later in the year.

Alain Prost considering drastic social media action following 'online abuse'
Alain Prost says he is giving thought to the idea of "turning off" his Instagram account following the rise in abusive messages he is receiving.
The four-time F1 world champion currently has 321,000 followers on the platform, with his last post as of the 8th March coming on 15th January with Tennis legend Roger Federer.
