Gianpiero Lambiase is set to remain in place as Max Verstappen's race engineer for the 2026 F1 season amid speculation over his future.

After the season finale last Sunday in Abu Dhabi where Verstappen narrowly missed out on a fifth title, Lambiase was visibly emotional on the pit wall.

Red Bull confirm Helmut Marko exit

Red Bull has announced the departure of Helmut Marko following the conclusion of the 2025 F1 season.

The 82-year-old cast doubt over his future with the Milton Keynes-based squad following the year-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and there has been speculation over potential disharmony between the Austrian and the rest of the team's management.

Max Verstappen delivers Yuki Tsunoda farewell gift after Red Bull exit

Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda have exchanged helmets as goodbye presents after the Japanese driver lost his seat at Red Bull.

The 25-year-old will continue with the Milton Keynes-based squad in 2026, but only in a reserve capacity, with Isack Hadjar taking his drive.

Red Bull express 'deep regret' at Helmut Marko departure

Oliver Mintzlaff, CEO Corporate Projects and Investments at Red Bull, has shared his "deep regret" at Helmut Marko's decision to leave the Milton Keynes-based team.

The 82-year-old has made the decision to step down from his role at the six-time F1 constructors' champions following the conclusion of the 2025 season.

Isack Hadjar sends clear Red Bull message after first official outing

Isack Hadjar has said he already feels "comfortable" at Red Bull, having joined the Milton Keynes-based squad for the F1 post-season test at Abu Dhabi.

The Frenchman completed 111 laps of the Yas Marina Circuit in the RB21 alongside Ayumu Iwasa, and evidently felt right at home in his new team.

F1 post-season test disrupted by red flag after crash

The post-season test at the Yas Marina Circuit was brought to a stop for several minutes on Tuesday morning following a crash for Ryo Hirakawa.

The Japanese driver was behind the wheel of the Haas VF-25, carrying out duties as part of the young drivers' test in Abu Dhabi.
