Motorcycle racing legend Mick Doohan, the father of Jack, has taken to social media following his son's Alpine demotion.
It was announced on Wednesday morning by the Enstone-based team that it would swap Doohan and Franco Colapinto from next weekend's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

McLaren has announced that IndyCar star Pato O'Ward will drive in practice for October's Mexico City Grand Prix.
O'Ward, the leader of McLaren's IndyCar programme, will take over the MCL39 in Free Practice 1 at his home circuit for his latest outing to fulfil one mandatory young driver slot required in 2025.

Mercedes is aiming to translate its strong one-lap qualifying pace into a faster race car with its next batch of F1 upgrades.
The Brackley team has enjoyed its strongest start to a season in the ground-effects era in 2025, with 141 points and four podiums from the opening six races to sit second in the standings as the season heads back to Europe, with Kimi Antonelli also taking Sprint pole in Miami.

Christian Horner feels there is no "eureka moment" for Red Bull to be able to wipe out McLaren's key advantage in the F1 title race.
McLaren thumped Red Bull in the Miami GP, with winner Oscar Piastri finishing 39.956s ahead of Max Verstappen in fourth place, with superior tyre life onboard the MCL39.
