Helmut Marko is due to return to an F1-related role, his first since his exit from Red Bull.
The Austrian was a long-time associate of the Milton Keynes-based squad and played a crucial role in its championship-winning years with Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen.
However, he confirmed at the end of the 2025 season that he would not be returning to the team for the following season.
It has now been reported by OE24 that Marko will now act as an ambassador for the Austrian Grand Prix.
The race in Spielberg returned to the F1 calendar in 2014 and has been the scene of notable moments, including clashes between title rivals.
Last year, F1 confirmed a long-term extension with the Austrian Grand Prix, which is due to remain on the calendar until at least 2041.
The 2026 edition of the race is due to take place on June 28, forming the eighth round of the campaign.
There, we are likely to see Marko back in the paddock for the first time since his exit from the team.
