Just one week after a manic race in Monaco, the Formula 1 teams will turn their attentions to Catalunya, which once again plays host to the Spanish Grand Prix.
Max Verstappen sensational victory in the principality opened up his championship lead to 39 points, and the Red Bull driver will be looking to extend his advantage on only the second non-street circuit of the year.
With the fast Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya receiving a welcomed modification to remove the clumsy chicane before the final corner, are we set for an even more competitive Spanish Grand Prix?
The weekend will follow the conventional format, with two practice sessions taking place on Friday. FP1 is scheduled for 12:30 UK time, with FP2 following at 16:00.
On Saturday, FP3 will be held at 11:30 UK time, ahead of qualifying
at 15:00. This will determine the grid for Sunday's 66-lap Spanish Grand
Prix, which starts at 14:00.
RacingNews365.com will be on hand to cover all of the action and you can find our live blog here. We will also have exclusive interviews, news and analysis throughout the entire weekend at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
