For years, the possibility of Hamilton moving to Ferrari have popped up every so often in the media, but firmly in place at Mercedes, Hamilton rejected the overtures.
But this time, after a long campaign by chairman John Elkann, he has taken the plunge and will partner Charles Leclerc from 2025 with an eighth World Championship firmly in his sights.
