McLaren has been forced to close its Team Hub for the Hungarian Grand Prix after freak weather hit the track on Wednesday. 

During the set-up day at the Hungaroring, a torrential rain storm lasting an hour-and-a-half hit the circuit, flooding it in places.

Alpine block Ocon transfer to rival team - report

The Alpine F1 team has moved to stop the possibility of Esteban Ocon joining a rival team as early as this year, according to a report.

Ocon is due to leave the Enstone-based squad at the end of the current campaign, bringing an end to his five-season stint with the team.

Tsunoda sends Red Bull message after promotion speculation

Yuki Tsunoda has responded to speculation he could be in the running for a promotion to the Red Bull team in the near future.

RacingNews365 understands clauses exist in Sergio Perez's contract which could be activated amid his difficult run of form at the Milton Keynes-based outfit.

Haas announce Magnussen to leave F1 team

Haas has announced that Kevin Magnussen will leave the team at the end of the 2024 F1 season.

The Dane, who has driven for the team between 2017-2020 and again from 2022 will leave after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, in what is expected to be his final season in grand prix racing.

Haas pay tribute to 'bedrock' Magnussen after F1 exit

Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu has paid tribute to Kevin Magnussen, describing the departing Dane as a "bedrock" of the team.

Magnussen will depart Haas at the end of the 2024 season, with his F1 career likely over with his name not one being linked to the handful of '25 seats still up for grabs.

Red Bull make Perez claim in comparison to Verstappen

Red Bull chief engineer Paul Monaghan has defended Sergio Perez who is in danger of losing his F1 seat over the summer.

Perez has come under significant pressure recently after only scoring 15 points in the last six races, raising speculation he could be dropped by Red Bull during the upcoming summer break.
