FIA Formula 2 is set to be on the support package for F1's first visit to Madrid in September 2026.

The street race in the Spanish capital is set to join the F1 calendar in 2026, running between September 11-13 as a replacement for Imola, whose contract expired following the '25 race.

The new venue in Madrid forms the final leg of the European season in F1, with the new venue set to feature all three top-level series, with FIA F3 set to conclude its season in Madrid.

With the swap of Imola and Madrid, the F2 calendar remains the same as in 2025, with a two-month gap between the Azerbaijan and Qatar rounds towards the end of the season.

FIA F3 will support the Australian, Bahrain, Monaco, Barcelona, Austrian, British, Belgian, Hungarian, Italian, and Madrid Grands Prix.

The Madrid Grand Prix remains subject to homologation, with the circuit needing its FIA Grade 1 licence.
