Michael Schuamcher's first Formula 1 car, which he drove at Spa-Francorchamps in 1991, has come up for sale again just 18 months after it was last sold. The Jordan 191 is the actual chassis (number six) used by the seven-time World Champion on the weekend of his debut, where he qualified seventh but failed to finish the race due to a clutch failure. Schumacher was replacing Bertrand Gachot at the time, after the Frenchman got himself into legal trouble. It is one of seven 191 cars built and was driven by Alex Zanardi and Andrea De Cesaris during the 1991 season. The car has a V6, 650bhp Ford HB engine, rebuilt by Langford Performance Engineering - the same company that built them in 1991. Chassis number six was sold to a Belgian car collector Jean 'Beurlys' Blaton, who kept it in storage until it was sold later to Didier Siruge in 2005. The car was ran in the BOSS F1 series and at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Today it still remains in perfect condition and was recently driven by F1 driver Mick Schumacher, son of Michael, and former F1 driver Karun Chandhok at Silverstone for a piece on Sky Sports F1. Bonhams is expecting it to sell between €1,400,000 - €2,000,000 with the sale set to take place at the upcoming Les Grandes Marques Du Monde À Paris on 2nd February.
