Charles Leclerc is seeking a "reset" to his F1 season following a poor run of form for Ferrari.
Leclerc branded his recent Canadian GP weekend as the "worst" of his career as he finished fourth, albeit aided by McLaren's strategy faux pas in starting on intermediate tyres and George Russell's retirement.
In Monaco, he was running third before crashing on the late safety car restart, before being on for a good points haul in Barcelona before a power steering failure put him out.
Leclerc has been struggling with the feel on the brakes of his SF-26 and has moved to Lewis Hamilton's setup of using CI brake discs in an otherwise Brembo system, which has yielded two seconds and a win over the same timeframe.
Reflecting on his situation, and being 40 points behind Hamilton in second in the drivers', Leclerc was keen to hit the ground running in Austria next time out.
"It was a bit better, and the weekend has been better generally, but with what happened, I just need to reset and come back in Austria and put everything together," Leclerc told media, including RacingNews365.
"I've lost significant points on my side, though.
"So I've got to do a pretty exceptional job from the next race until the end, with the upgrades coming from our side, and we will see."
