Charles Leclerc has escaped a penalty for the Italian Grand Prix after an incident with George Russell at Zandvoort.
After the virtual safety car restart for debris, Leclerc got the jump on Russell and attempted to barge his way around the outside of Turn 11 and up the inside of Turn 12.
The Ferrari did manage to get ahead, but appeared to do so with all four wheels placed off track and in the gravel, with both machines sustaining damage.
The stewards placed the incident under investigation after the race, but the Monegasque was no longer running after a further incident with the sister Mercedes of Kimi Antonelli, for which he was the innocent party.
During their investigation, the stewards with "the benefit of the driving standard guidelines" looked at whether each driver could have done anything differently.
They also looked at whether Leclerc had passed Russell off track, but the evidence proved "inconclusive" with both parties agreeing "no clear evidence" existed.
Both drivers felt it was a racing incident, and as such, the stewards decided to take no further action.
