January 22, 2026 — Northville, Michigan, Fishers, Indiana and Silverstone, UK —Tenneco LLC, a leading global supplier of automotive products and technology solutions, today announced a multi-year technical partnership with the Cadillac Formula 1® Team, as the team prepares for its debut in the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship™.
Cadillac has announced a major new partnership with global leader Tenneco as it prepares for its debut in F1.
The new General Motors-backed team has signed what has been described as a "multi-year technical partnership" with Tenneco, a globally leading supplier of automotive products and technology solutions.
Over the past 125 years since its foundation, Tenneco has worked with the likes of Automotive giants Ford, GM, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, and Jaguar LandRover as well as the Stellantis group, consisting of brands such as Citroen, Jeep, Fiat, and Lancia. The chairman of Stellantis is John Elkann, executive chairman of Ferrari.
In partnership with GM through "decades", Tenneco has helped to deliver "performance-critical systems across powertrain, ride performance, and clean air."
With the Cadillac team, Tenneco is to "provide a portfolio of performance-critical products, systems, and engineering support, including advanced powertrain and ignition technologies that enable ultimate performance, reliability, and dependability."
Reflecting, Cadillac's head of commercial strategy Tyler Epp explained how the deal would help "strong foundations" be laid.
"As we move towards our debut at the 2026 Australian Grand Prix, we need partners who share our desire to lay down strong foundations for future success," he said.
"Tenneco is a proven partner, focused on working hand in hand with our technical teams to deliver high-quality, reliable parts. We are delighted to welcome them on board," whilst CEO of Tenneco Jim Voss added that the purpose of the brand was to "be the most trusted partner to perform, execute, and win."
