The weather forecast for this weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix is looking increasingly uncertain as changeable conditions head towards Baku.
Situated on the edge of the Caspian Sea, it will play host to the 17th round of the 2025 F1 season, but with rain expected to be lurking, chaos could ensue across the 51-lap race.
Already known as an unpredictable event, one that tends to throw up surprise results and action-packed thrillers, unstable weather conditions add another intriguing variable into the mix.
Friday's two free practice sessions are forecast to be dry, with highs of 25 degrees Celsius and no chance of rain. As FP2 ends, the first threat of adverse weather will appear, which will increase in likelihood throughout the evening.
Saturday brings a higher chance of rain, particularly in the third and final practice session, with the percentage likelihood hovering between 35 and 40 percent for that hour.
That will decrease to the high teens percentage-wise for qualifying; however, windspeed is expected to pick up towards the end of the grid-setting session. It will be slightly cooler, with highs of 21 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday, the temperature will be similar, and the wind will have died down to a gentle breeze. Although, race start at 15:00 local time will see a 29 percent chance of rain.
