The Australian Grand Prix is currently forecast to be hit by heavy rain showers as F1 builds up to the 2025 season-opener.

As of 19:00 AEDT on Monday 10th March (08:00 UK) there is a 64% and rising chance of rain showers blowing through Melbourne and Albert Park at 15:00 AEDT on Sunday afternoon (04:00 UK) - the time the race is set to begin.

Red Bull has announced a new multi-year partnership with mophie, a world leader in portable power solutions.

Mophie joins Red Bull as an official team supplier, with the Milton Keynes-based team to receive premium portable power solutions throughout the 2025 F1 season.

Lando Norris makes Lewis Hamilton declaration as Ferrari's title bid assessed

Lando Norris reckons championship glory for Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari "would be the icing on the cake" as he evaluated the Scuderia's title chances.

Norris and McLaren head to the season-opening Australian Grand Prix as respective title favourites following a strong pre-season test where the Briton put in a particularly eye-catching long-run on the second day.

Racing Bulls announce 'long-serving' figure to join Red Bull

Racing Bulls technical director Jody Egginton is leaving the team to take up a new role with Red Bull Advanced Technologies.

Egginton had served as technical director since 2019, but after joining Faenza in 2014, the Briton is moving to a new position of engineering director of Red Bull Advanced Technologies from April 1st.

'It's getting out of hand' - Verstappen actions backed as FIA receive major swearing criticism

Former F1 driver Christian Klien has criticised the FIA for getting "out of hand" with its actions against swearing, with Max Verstappen's response having been praised.

The FIA has introduced tighter regulations against swearing and general foul language, which will see drivers receive substantial fines and potentially race bans.

'You cannot manufacture a miracle' - David Coulthard offers crucial Lando Norris verdict

David Coulthard has given a crucial verdict on Lando Norris, believing the McLaren driver has "clearly" showed himself to be an "exceptional" driver.

Norris claimed his first four grand prix victories in 2024, including in the Abu Dhabi finale to help land McLaren its first constructors' title since 1998 as he also emerged as a drivers' title contender for the first time.
