Roman Stanek took pole position for the final round of the 2025 F2 season at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, beating Jak Crawford by just under a tenth of a second.
2025 drivers' champion Leonardo Fornaroli was the third fastest in qualifying at the Yas Marina Circuit.
Dino Beganovic and Sebastian Montoya rounded out the top five, ahead of Oliver Goethe, who will complete the third row of the grid during the longer race.
Arvid Lindblad and Nikola Tsolov qualified tenth and ninth, respectively, so they will occupy the front row in the shorter sprint on Saturday.
However, Tsolov and Luke Browning will face a post-session investigation for alleged impeding at Turn 9, with the latter also in danger from a potential unsafe release during the 30-minute grid-setting session.
