Oscar Piastri topped third practice at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on a strong 1:15.529, three-tenths clear of the next fastest time.
A late crash by Sergio Perez at Turn 15 saw a red flag late on, although the session resumed in time for most drivers to set a final hot lap on a set of soft tyres.
Lando Norris claimed second in a McLaren one-two, ahead of a Ferrari three-four as Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc ended FP3 in third and fourth, George Russell completed the top five.
Reigning world champion Max Verstappen was sixth but like many others, failed to set a final hot lap due to the session restarting son late.
