Daniel Ricciardo has ended the opening practice session of the season from Bahrain on top, setting a 1:32.869.
The new F1 season began on Thursday afternoon at the Bahrain International Circuit with 60 minutes of running ahead of the second practice outing later in the day.
With the rebranded RB squad heading the timesheet, the McLaren duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were second and third respectively.
The second RB challenger was fourth with Yuki Tsunoda behind the wheel, while reigning World Champion Max Verstappen was sixth fastest.
