Mercedes have been the dominant force of the 2026 season, winning eight of the first 11 races as the new regulations have played directly into their hands.
Kimi Antonelli, still just 19, has been the story of the campaign with six victories, while George Russell has chipped in with two wins of his own, including the season opener in Melbourne.
Yet cracks have started to appear in the Silver Arrows' armour as it has seemingly not maintained that advantage as the season has progressed.
Ferrari broke through with Lewis Hamilton's triumph in Barcelona and Charles Leclerc's victory at Silverstone, while Lando Norris gave McLaren their first win of the year in Hungary.
The gap that looked insurmountable in the early rounds is narrowing.
The question is whether Mercedes can sustain their advantage across the second half of the season as their rivals continue to develop.
