Gabriel Bortoleto has confirmed he will remain with Audi in Formula 1 for "many years", although he did not comment on the exact length of his contract.
The Brazilian is viewed as a major talent and has impressed many across his first 18 months in Formula 1. In particular, he has performed strongly for Audi in the German marque's debut season.
Audi has embarked on a long-term project in the pinnacle of motorsport, with its driver pairing of Bortoleto and Nico Hülkenberg blending youth and experience.
Despite making promising progress, the Hinwil-based outfit has scored just 10 points, all of them through Bortoleto. Eighth place at Spa-Francorchamps last weekend represents both Audi's and Bortoleto's best result of the 2026 season so far.
The young driver is eager to see Audi's project through and hopes to play a key role in the team's rise in Formula 1.
"My future is already sorted with Audi," Bortoleto told Sky F1, when asked about his future.
"I am there for many years, let’s put it this way.
"I cannot say the length of the contract, and I leave it to them if they want to make it public. I really don’t mind, it’s up to them, their decision.
"But what I can tell you I have a long way [ahead] with them, it’s going to be many years, and hopefully we can conquer many great wins and things in the future together."
