Ferrari set the standard on the second day of pre-season testing, with Charles Leclerc finishing as the quickest driver. On top of their pace, the Scuderia also racked up the highest amount of mileage between their two drivers over the day.
With sheer lap count being a primary goal of pre-season testing as teams strive for mileage to better understand their new cars, Ferrari added 150 laps of track time to their Wednesday accumulation.
AlphaTauri finished second, with Pierre Gasly clocking up 147 laps by himself to add two race distances to the team's gathered data from Wednesday.
Aston Martin, McLaren and Alpine finished with almost an identical number of laps – 127, 126 and 125 laps respectively.
At the opposite end of the table, Red Bull completed just 78 laps on Thursday. After a gearbox issue ruled Sergio Perez out of completing the morning session, the resulting fixes and changes to his RB18 meant he didn't rejoin the action until midway through the afternoon.
Also struggling for mileage were Alfa Romeo. After a tough first day, Alfa fared better on Thursday as Guanyu Zhou and Valtteri Bottas managed 92 laps between them – this figure still only enough to keep them ahead of Red Bull's compromised day.

With Perez encountering issues during the day, he managed just 78 laps in total to finish fifth overall.
Like Day 1, Leclerc completed the most laps (79) out of the drivers who spent half a day at the wheel, while Sebastian Vettel, Carlos Sainz and Zhou also completed race distances.
