Max Verstappen will start the Japanese Grand Prix from pole position with team-mate Sergio Perez alongside him on the front row. The Dutchman narrowly edged out Perez for the top spot during qualifying, with just 0.066s separating the pair during their final laps in Q3. Verstappen is looking to bounce back after suffering a defeat last time out in Australia when a terminal right rear brake issue arose on his car. But what weather conditions are set to greet the drivers during the race around the Suzuka Circuit?
Dry and sunny
After rainfall impacted Friday practice, no such conditions are expected to be repeated during the grand prix. Our friends at Weeronline.nl have forecast that the race will be dry and sunny with an average temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. While there may be some cloud cover, no precipitation is expected while the cars are circulating on the track. There will also be a moderate wind blowing from the southwest with no major gusts expected.
