Lewis Hamilton has joined Ferrari in what has been dubbed the most iconic partnership in F1 history.
However, the Briton has not headed to Maranello merely to create the synergy of the most iconic F1 driver of all time and the championship's most iconic team; the 40-year-old is in pursuit of something more elusive - a record eighth F1 drivers' title.
If he can win the crown again over his time at the Scuderia, he will surpass Michael Schumacher, who won five of his championships with Ferrari between 2000 and 2004.
But with Hamilton at such a critical juncture in his F1 career, RacingNews365 looked back at the success he has achieved already, ranking his titles from greatest to least - if there is such a thing.
When asked which of his seven championships was his best, half of all respondents chose two of his more recent triumphs, but neither secured the plurality of his first.
Seized in highly dramatic circumstances from Ferrari's Felipe Massa - on the last lap of the last race of the season, and at the Brazilian's home grand prix, no less - 2008 takes the top spot with 39.51 per cent of the vote.
That would have been the Italian team's most recent drivers' title. So it is, therefore, somewhat fitting that Hamilton has now joined the Maranello-based squad to claim his next.
