McLaren have become the latest team to send their brand new Formula 1 car out on track, as the Woking-based team opted to hold a filming day at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Monday.
With Haas revealing their VF-22 by holding their shakedown filming day on Monday morning, McLaren made the most of the sunny afternoon to send Lando Norris out in the MCL36 to carry out their shakedown and record some promotional video footage with a camera car.
Many of the teams are choosing to hold filming days ahead of pre-season testing, which grants them 100 kilometres of track time on specifically-designed Pirelli tyres. These quick shakedowns serve as effective systems checks, before the valuable six days of testing begin.
The first test starts at the Spanish circuit on 23 February, with all 10 teams set to hit the track together for the first time in F1's new technical era.
