Lewis Hamilton recently took time out from his fierce championship battle with Max Verstappen to meet his 'oldest fan', Len, who will soon celebrate his 105th birthday.
The Mercedes star had nothing but gratitude for the support shown by Len, and his son, David, during a video call following his 100th F1 victory at the Russian Grand Prix.
When Hamilton found out that Len was due to turn 105, the seven-time World Champion couldn't help but applaud.
"I've heard you've got a birthday coming up, is that right?" Hamilton said, to which Len's son David replied: "Yeah, dad's going to be a 105 in a couple of weeks."
Hamilton added: "Wow, 105 – and he looks great! He looks so good!"
Hamilton currently trails Verstappen by six points in the Drivers' Championship following the Turkish Grand Prix, but Len was sure to send his best wishes to the Mercedes driver ahead of the final six races.
"I will be thinking of you in the future, I hope you have a really good future," he concluded.
