Alex Albon will know better next time!
The Williams driver had just appeared in the first half of the official FIA drivers' press conference on Thursday to preview the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah alongside Ollie Bearman from Haas and Stake's Gabriel Bortoleto.
Following immediately after were Max Verstappen, Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso, and Isack Hadjar from Racing Bulls.
As Verstappen was about to take his seat on the awaiting sofa, the four-time F1 champion spotted a mobile phone.
Recognising it belonged to former Red Bull team-mate Albon, Verstappen immediately swiped left to open the camera and proceeded to take selfies of himself alongside Alonso and Hadjar.
Moments later and recognising his error in leaving his phone behind, Albon reappeared, and naturally he saw the funny side.
Albon later posted the photos on his X-account with the words, "911 I'd like to report a robbery!"
Maybe Albon will get his own back on Verstappen one day.
