Max Verstappen has voiced his frustration with Red Bull's execution of the Hungarian Grand Prix.
The three-time world champion ended the race in fifth place, with his chance of a podium result botched by a clash with Lewis Hamilton late in the race.
Verstappen voiced frustration over the team radio prior to the incident regarding the strategy he was put on, with Red Bull pitting the Dutchman later than their rivals for both of his pit stops.
It meant the Dutchman was forced to catch up and go on the attack around the narrow Hungaroring circuit.
"It was just a very bad race,” Verstappen told Viaplay. “Everything went wrong, the strategy was just bad.
“We just know it's very difficult to overtake here. I just had to do that. I tried to fight, but with that I also lost so much time.
“That fact you have to deal with an undercut the first time, that's not good, but that happens.
"And then I get stuck behind him [Hamilton] again on the second time. Then you just don't pass him, they let me out again and then after that I'm also driving in traffic with backmarkers.
“I don't understand it at all actually, it's just very bad.”

Verstappen's annoyance was heard through several radio messages as he questioned the team strategy.
The 26-year-old had a number of altercations with race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase during the race and was critical of the feedback he got from the pit wall.
"Again, I also just got stupid comments back on the radio,” he highlighted.
"Instead of them just trying to talk to me and actually admitting that it wasn't ideal... Of course, that makes me calm too.
“But then they also go against it. That was totally the last straw for me."
