Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri have been summoned to see the F1 stewards at Monza following an incident during qualifying.

Verstappen was driving out into the pit lane when Piastri was released into his path, forcing the Dutchman to brake heavily.

A disgruntled Verstappen stated over team radio: “Fucking hell. I almost crashed.”

The stewards have now opted to investigate the incident with the pair being called to a hearing after the session.

Both drivers will visit the stewards at 18:20 local time.

The verdict was handed out after qualifying, which is able to be read here.
