True Perez scale
The accident of Sergio Perez in the Monaco Grand Prix was one of the biggest seen in F1 over recent years with the Red Bull destroyed.
He was able to climb out of the wreckage with a lengthy delay following for barrier repairs, with new footage emerging showing just how violent the smash actually was.

Gasly's claim
Fortunately for Kevin Magnussen, some of the heat from his accident with Perez was taken off of him by Esteban Ocon's clumsy move on Alpine team-mate Pierre Gasly at Portier.
It put Ocon out of the race and earned him a furious rebuke from boss Bruno Famin, with Ocon apologising soon after the riot act was read.
But Gasly has revealed how Ocon appears to have broken a pre-race agreement between the team and drivers.

A weight off the shoulders
Among all the chaos in Monaco, it is easy to forget that Charles Leclerc actually won - for his first victory since the 2022 Austrian Grand Prix.
His delighted team boss Frederic Vasseur discussed the victory post-race and feels a massive weight has finally been lifted from the Monegasque.
