Lando Norris secured a surprise victory in the Hungarian Grand Prix following a one-stop gamble, as a result of finding himself in fifth at the end of the first lap.
He survived a late charge from title leader and team-mate Oscar Piastri, who holds a nine-point lead going into the F1 summer break.
George Russell completed the podium behind the McLaren one-two, whilst Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton endured difficult races in ninth and 12th, respectively.

Starting in the United Kingdom, British newspaper The Times reported on comments post-race by Mercedes boss Toto Wolff on his former driver, Hamilton.
The seven-time world champion was incredibly downbeat after both qualifying and the grand prix in Hungary, suggesting Ferrari needs a new driver and that he is "useless".
Post-race, Wolff insisted that the 40-year-old must remember how good he is, and that an eighth drivers' title can be won if he has the correct car underneath him next season.
🇳🇱 De Telegraaf - 'Red Bull's top advisor Helmut Marko: "I think we've found the cause of this weekend's problems"'
In the Netherlands, publication De Telegraaf focused on the difficulties endured by Verstappen and Red Bull.
The Dutchman qualified in eighth but finished in ninth, insisting that "nothing works". However, post-race, Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko revealed that the team believes it has discovered what caused a horrific weekend in Hungary.
According to Marko, "the tyres didn't work" for Red Bull's RB21, resulting in the challenging weekend for both Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda, who finished comfortably outside the points.
🇮🇹 La Gazzetta dello Sport - 'Hamilton: "It's worse than any other season, but I haven't lost my drive. I love racing."'
In Italy, La Gazzetta dello Sport has focused on Hamilton's immense struggle at the Hungaroring, a track he has previously won at on eight occasions.
Despite being the most successful driver in the Hungarian GP, it was a disastrous weekend and one which left him calling himself "useless" and noting that Ferrari need a new driver.
Speaking after the race, he has accepted it will be his worst season in F1, but that he does still continue to "love racing" after finishing in 12th.
🇺🇸 The Washington Post - 'Lewis Hamilton says he has "a lot going on in the background" after another tough race'
In the United States, The Washington Post also highlighted the striking comments made by Hamilton, who built upon his qualifying comments post-race.
The 105-time race winner insisted it was simply how he was currently feeling, but also pointed out that there was "a lot going on in the background".
Interestingly, when asked what he was referring to, the Briton opted against going into any detail, leaving it in the air for speculation.
🇩🇪 BILD - 'Verstappen: "I won’t win races like this anymore"'
In Germany, BILD reported a remarkable comment from Verstappen, who conceded that he will not "win races like this anymore" in 2025.
The Red Bull driver ruled himself out of claiming another victory this season, following the troubles he experienced in Hungary.
Marko also accepted it is now "impossible" for Verstappen to defend his title and become a five-time world champion, having fallen 97 points adrift.

And finally, in Japan, The Japan Times published comments from race winner Norris, on his intense battle with Piastri.
The two McLaren drivers had an intense fight for the victory in the final laps, with Piastri having attempted two huge lunges at the first corner.
Reflecting on the scrarp, Norris is hoping for "more of the same" in the closing 10 rounds, following the summer break.
