Here is the provisional starting grid for the 2022 F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which will be held on the streets of Baku on Sunday.

Charles Leclerc will start Sunday's Azerbaijan Grand Prix from pole position, with the Ferrari driver taking his sixth qualifying top spot from eight race weekends so far in 2022.

Leclerc will face a stern challenge from the two Red Bulls as they line up alongside and directly behind – Sergio Perez has taken the front row place alongside Leclerc, while Max Verstappen starts from third place.

Carlos Sainz lines up from fourth in the second Ferrari.

Mercedes' George Russell was best of the rest as he starts from fifth, with AlphaTauri's Pierre Gasly clinchinh sixth.

The starting grid below is provisional until confirmed by F1's governing body, the FIA.
