Silverstone has announced a deal with iconic British supermarket Marks and Spencers to become its "official partner."
M&S recently joined Williams in a new deal, with the chain signing a contract to span year around and focus on "track days, hospitality, music, entertainment and more," with a special focus on F1, MotoGP, and CarFest weekends.
The chain will also become the official event supporter of the British Grand Prix at the track.
"We’re absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Silverstone on its incredible calendar of events, including the legendary British Grand Prix," said Sharry Cramond, the M&S marketing director for Fashion, Home, and Beatuy.
"We know that brands which are culturally relevant grow faster than those that aren’t, and at M&S we have a clear plan to activate our offer around the biggest cultural moments in the country. It doesn’t get much bigger than Silverstone.
"Silverstone isn’t just about motorsport, it’s a cultural hub where sport, music and community collide to create magic. We can’t wait to help make this year’s events even more memorable for everyone, and we love that!"
The head of partnerships at Silverstone, Rachel James spoke of the strength that "two British powerhouses with a deep heritage" would "elevate the fan experience throughout the season."
