Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko stated last month that he sees Sebastian Vettel as his ideal replacement at the Milton Keynes-based team.
Marko is most famously known for his management of Red Bull's junior driver programme which has nurtured such talents such as Vettel himself, as well as Max Verstappen, Daniel Ricciardo and Carlos Sainz.
Vettel's most successful years in F1 were spent with Red Bull, as the two parties won four titles together between 2010 and 2013
When the prospect of replacing Marko at Red Bull was brought up to the German, Vettel stated: "I still get along very well with Helmut and we are also in talks
"In terms of the subject (being Marko's successor) not so intensive and not so deep yet, but that is perhaps something that could play a role.”
Vettel opted to retire from F1 at the end of the 2022 campaign following two seasons with Aston Martin.
But should the 37-year-old take over from Marko once the latter decides to walk away from F1? Have your say below!
