Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2022 The latest F1 news about the 2022 F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will take place on 27 March 2022. The Jeddah Corniche Circuit is the venue for the second running of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Formula 1 heads to Saudi Arabia for a second time in 2022, with the Jeddah Street Circuit playing host after making its debut in 2021. Jeddah is located on the Red Sea coast on the west coast of the country.

The street circuit is very fast, with average speeds of 252km/h, putting it second on the calendar behind only Monza. It also features 27 corners, the most on the F1 calendar, as drivers make their way past the Jeddah waterfront.

In 2021, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was the penultimate race of the season. Title contenders Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen went head-to-head, but it was Hamilton who took a debut win in Jeddah.
