Sargeant sets goal for next races at Williams

The Williams driver admits that he has been driving "closer to the limit" as he looks to match his teammate Alex Albon.

Logan Sargeant believes he is driving "closer to the limit" in the Williams as he searches for his first points finish in Formula 1. The team had two competitive weekends at the Red Bull Ring and Silverstone, with Alex Albon comfortably able to challenge for points while Sargeant was close to a top ten. Williams has now found themselves in a tight battle with Haas and Alfa Romeo, as their car starts to impress on high speed circuits and finish qualifying more regularly in Q3.

Maintaining the momentum

Sargeant achieved his best qualifying position of 14th at the recent British Grand Prix. The American told media, including RacingNews365.com , that he needs to keep building on these performances if he wants to add to their points tally: "It's been a good two weekends back-to-back and we need to keep building on this. "I feel like I'm starting to drive much closer to the limit and more just to what the car needs. "So everything's coming together slowly but surely, and if we keep building on this, we will eventually get into the points soon - and that's our goal."
