Max Verstappen will lead the field away for the second F1 Sprint race of the season in Austria on Saturday.

Red Bull driver Verstappen edged out the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz during qualifying at the Red Bull Ring to seal top spot.

Sergio Perez had been due to start fourth in the other Red Bull, but drops back to 13th after losing his Q3 times and best Q2 effort over track limits.

Mercedes endured a disastrous conclusion to qualifying as both Lewis Hamilton and George Russell crashed out in quick succession.

Russell will still line up fourth, ahead of the competitive Alpine and Haas machines, with Hamilton back in ninth.

The starting grid below is provisional until confirmed by F1's governing body, the FIA.
