Racing Bulls has become the latest team to unveil a fresh livery for the British Grand Prix.
The Red Bulls sister squad enters the race weekend buoyed by a sixth-place result in Austria, courtesy of Liam Lawson. It matched its best result of the year and lifted it ahead of Haas in the F1 standings.
As it looks to consolidate another strong weekend from Silverstone, it has launched a livery change for the next round of the championship. The fresh design has been created in partnership with the team, HUGO BOSS and British artist Olaolu Slawn.
It was unveiled by Slawn, Lawson and Isack Hadjar on Tuesday evening, at the Flannels X store in London. Both drivers will also wear special race suits featuring Slawn's artwork, as will the team's kit.
"Slawn’s work is unlike anything we’ve seen in Formula 1, and that’s exactly why this collaboration felt right," said Racing Bulls CEO, Peter Bayer.
"Partnering with HUGO and Slawn has allowed us to push creative boundaries in a way that reflects the bold identity of our team. Silverstone is a massive moment in the season, and we’re proud to bring something completely original to our fans."
Slawn is an established artist in the British capital through his famed graffiti aesthetic, based on his Yoruba heritage and London's urban culture. He recently designed the FA Cup trophy in May earlier this year.
"Art meets speed, and I brought the madness," said Slawn. "Big love to HUGO and VCARB for trusting the vision"
