Lando Norris stormed to sprint pole position at the Chinese Grand Prix on Friday afternoon at the Shanghai International Circuit. The McLaren driver was a staggering 1.3 secs clear of Lewis Hamilton in second, whilst reigning world champion Max Verstappen could only salvage fourth on the grid. Norris is yet to claim a Grand Prix win and he is also yet to win a sprint race, unlike team-mate Oscar Piastri who was victorious in last season's Qatar sprint. With the drivers having gathered minimal data as a result of the sprint format, Saturday's first sprint race of 2024 is an unpredictable one. Despite being difficult to predict, Norris starts in the best position to convert pole into victory but will he do it? Have your say in the poll below!
