Sergio Perez suffered his latest early exit from qualifying in Singapore after failing to advance into Q3.
The Mexican driver couldn't produce a lap to pull himself into the top 10 as the track ramped up towards the end of the session.
Perez slipped into the drop zone as the session entered its final moments, with Perez sitting in 13th.
Although he managed to improve his lap time, he couldn't boost himself up the order and is now set to start Sunday's race in 13th, behind the Williams duo of Alex Albon and Franco Colapinto.
It marks his first non-Q3 appearance since Hungary and his seventh early exit of the season.
Perez's best effort was nine-tenths of a second down on team-mate Max Verstappen who safely advanced into the next stage.
Perez also qualified in 13th place at last year's Singapore Grand Prix.
