Mercedes has been fined €5,000 by F1 stewards after George Russell left the Mexico City Grand Prix early.
Team-mate Kimi Antonelli secured the title with a third place place, with Russell's sixth confirming his defeat to the Italian.
Post-race, Russell did not attend his media duties in the media pen, either to TV crews or the written media.
This is a requirement of every driver, unless they receive an exemption on medical grounds by the FIA.
A Mercedes team representative told the stewards Russell had already left the circuit without attending his duties, and for this, the team received a €5,000 fine.
