Kimi Antonelli finished third at the Mexico City Grand Prix, becoming the youngest F1 drivers' champion.
The Mercedes driver is the 36th winner of the crown and the first Italian champion in 73 years.
By taking victory at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Max Verstappen has vaulted up to second in the standings, ahead of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, who drops to fourth.
Update: A post-race 10-second time penalty dropped Oscar Piastri from seventh place at the chequered flag to P16.
In addition to losing six points, Franco Colapinto gains two more than originally expected, and Liam Lawson and Pierre Gasly also gain. Gabriel Bortoleto clinches an unanticipated point.
