The Qatar Grand Prix stewards have confirmed a pit lane start for Red Bull driver Sergio Perez.
Mexican Perez will use an entire new power unit, with his fifth Internal Combustion Engine, Turbo Charger, MGU-H and MGU-K, as well as a fourth Control Electronics - all in breach of the permitted amount of components as per the F1 Sporting Regulations.
Red Bull was forced into extensive repairs after Perez's Sprint crash on Saturday, where he was hit by Alpine's Esteban Ocon and Haas' Nico Hulkenberg.
Perez may yet be forced to take a 10-second penalty with his team reported to the stewards for making a third car - a similar transgression for which Logan Sargeant and Williams were penalised for at the Japanese Grand Prix.
His original starting position for the race at the Lusail International Circuit was 13th.
