Oliver Bearman has revealed that his eyes are firmly set on a "dream" move in the future to Ferrari, with his "goal in life" being to win for the Scuderia.
Bearman has been part of Ferrari's driver development programme since 2022 and is viewed very highly by the Maranello-based outfit.
The Briton has already raced for Ferrari in a one-off appearance in the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, where he replaced Carlos Sainz who was ruled out due to appendicitis.
Since then, Bearman has developed considerably in Ferrari customer squad Haas, who he will continue with for the start of the new power unit regulations next year.
While Bearman will remain at Haas, fellow 2025 rookie Isack Hadjar has been handed a promotion to Red Bull, with the Frenchman, Kimi Antonelli and Gabriel Bortoleto all holding manufacturer seats.
Asked for his thoughts on Hadjar's promotion, Bearman told a select group of media including RacingNews365: "Yeah, I'm a bit jealous, of course, that he's going to be probably fighting for a lot, up in a team like Red Bull. But I'm sure my time will come, and I'm very happy for him.
"Of course, I have raced with him since Formula 3, and he's shown incredible talent and speed. It's great that the rookie generation is getting recognised, and now we have both Kimi and Isack in top teams.
"So that's great. Just waiting for my shot now, but it will come one day."
Ferrari is the ultimate target for Bearman, with it being what drives him everyday to do the best he can.
Having raced for Ferrari in Saudi Arabia has given the 20-year-old a small taste of what life is like in red, something he wants on a permanent basis.
"That is, of course, my dream," revealed Bearman. "That's what motivates me to push as hard as I can, and gives me the drive to get up every morning and give everything in everything I do, because that's what I want to do.
"I want to race in red. I want to win in red. And that's my goal in life. Of course, I'm lucky enough to have had the taste, I know what it feels like, so I want to come back to that feeling."

Haas' 2026 potential
At least for 2026, the focus for Bearman remains very much on performing at his best for Haas. Bearman made solid progress this year, although still sits perilously close to a race ban.
Speed and big results have come naturally to Bearman, but reducing the volume of his mistakes has proven trickier.
Nevertheless, the new regulations next year offer Bearman a great opportunity to build on his rookie campaign and convince Ferrari to offer him a seat for 2027.
"Well, I think that 2026 can give us a lot of things," added Bearman. "And like I said, there is a lot of opportunity with a new set of regulations. I feel like I'm performing at a very high level.
"I feel like I am ready for whatever is coming in the future. But that also means that I'm ready to bring this car that I'm driving right now to the best possible position. I really hope that we have a strong car performance based on our performance throughout the year.
"I have a strong, you know, a good feeling, and really back this team. So first of all, I'm really excited about what we can do with Haas."
