A New Zealand newspaper has created a mocking image directed at Red Bull following its decision to replace Liam Lawson.
Red Bull announced on Thursday that Yuki Tsuonda will race for the team from the Japanese Grand Prix, with Lawson returning to Racing Bulls.
Lawson lasted just two rounds at the Red Bull team before being ousted after he endured highly painful events in Australia and China respectively.
The 23-year-old qualified at the back of the field in those races and failed to get near fighting for the points.
The news has not been received well in Lawson's home country of New Zealand.
The New Zealand Herald, a major daily newspaper in the country, has produced a cartoon criticising the decision.
The publication has played on a well-known Red Bull slogan - 'Red Bull gives you wings' - changing the words to 'Red Bull clips your wings'.
It has been placed alongside a cartoon image of Lawson who is walking away from a set of broken wings.
