The Monaco Grand Prix is to be the first F1 race under the new technical regulations, which closed Mercedes' loophole with its power unit compression ratio.

During pre-season, it was reported that Mercedes HPP had found a way to increase the compression ratio of its new engine to 18:1, with the limit in the rules being 16:1.

Monaco GP rule change was quietly dropped by FIA - but why?

The Monaco Grand Prix this weekend will not see the two-pit stop mandate that governed the round last season after the FIA quietly dropped the rule from the sporting regulations earlier this year.

The enforced requirement to pit for a second time in the 78-lap race around the streets of Monte Carlo was introduced to shake up strategy and make the event more of an entertaining spectacle.

Max Verstappen heads to Monaco GP with clean F1 slate after moment of madness

It was one of the most defining moments of the 2025 Formula 1 season.

Following a safety-car restart in the Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya, George Russell launched an attack that Red Bull's four-time F1 champion Verstappen repelled, albeit taking an escape road to avoid major contact.

McLaren has unveiled a special livery to mark a major milestone in its Formula 1 history.

This weekend's Monaco Grand Prix represents the 1000th for the Woking-based organisation, leading to a McLaren livery that the team claims symbolises the message that McLaren Never Quits.

F1 champion reconsiders motorsport retirement with comeback desire

Kimi Antonelli has pinpointed why he believes Ferrari will be the "team to beat" at the Monaco Grand Prix, zeroing in on a specific factor the Scuderia has to its advantage.

The Mercedes driver has won the past four grands prix in succession, becoming the first F1 driver to take their first quartet of victories consecutively, but feels it will be an uphill battle to make it five in a row around the streets of the Principality.
