Max Verstappen walked away uninjured from a huge accident on the opening lap of the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort.
Rounding the final corner in damp conditions, Verstappen lost control of the Red Bull and spat into the concrete wall on the outside of the track, destroying the Red Bull, and spinning back across the field, with the home driver running in seventh place at the time.
A rain shower before the race led to the tricky conditions, with Verstappen getting a snap of oversteer, as he cannoned into the wall, before hitting the wall on the other side of the track.
The red flags were immediately flown, and the race was suspended.
Gabriel Bortoleto of Audi also spun at the final corner, but with a 360 rotation, avoided any contact.
Lando Norris leads from Kimi Antonelli, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri, Lewis Hamilton, Liam Lawson, Arvid Lindblad, Pierre Gasly, and Franco Colapinto as the top 10.
