Max Verstappen has been spotted testing Red Bull's own version of Ferrari's Macarena rear wing during the team's recent filming day.
The rear wing was also modified, with new images now showing that the Milton Keynes-based team have developed its own version of Ferrari's rear wing design, which raised eyebrows in pre-season testing.
Ferrari's rear wing opens and closes through 270 degrees on the straights and works similarly to an aircraft wing, creating lift and increasing speed. The actuators are located within the rear wing end-plate fences, rather than a central actuator, akin to the old-style DRS.
Red Bull's interpretation of the design does not follow the Ferrari mechanism, with a central pillar appearing to be the actuator.
Although it has had the wing on the car since pre-season testing, Ferrari is yet to use the design in competition during a grand prix weekend.
It was not used at all during the Australian or Japanese GP weekends, and was only run in practice at the Chinese GP, before the team reverted to the standard rear wing for both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc heading into Sprint Qualifying in Shanghai.
