Max Verstappen has straight-batted and not entertained a latest round of questioning around his Red Bull future ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix.

Verstappen currently has a contract with Red Bull until the end of 2028, but speculation has grown that he could seek to leave the team, given his frustration at a lack of performance and ability to contend for grand prix victories and be in title contention.

An exit clause does exist in his contract whereby he could leave for 2027 as he will not be in the top two in the standings by the summer break, although it has not been triggered, with McLaren heavily-touted in recent weeks as a potential destination should he leave.

That link appears to have cooled, with the four-time champion addressing the latest questions ahead of the Belgian GP to media, including RacingNews365, presented below in a transcript-style owing to the shortness of his answers.

"Is there any update you can give us?"

"No."

"What do you make of the speculation?"

"Nothing."

"Do you have a date in mind?"

"No, there is nothing to say from my side."

"So full commitment to Red Bull?"

"I said there is nothing to say."

"Do you want to stay at Red Bull next, and are you driving for Red Bull next year?"

"I don't want to go here, and say yes or no and this or that about my future. I have said many times about my future, that if there is something new [to say], I will say it myself."
